2011 Budget Passed with No Tax Increase

The Board of Supervisors on December 1 passed a $10.7 million dollar budget for 2011 with no tax increase. To address the declining fund reserve, the Board of Supervisors authorized transferring $742,335 from the Cable Fund into the General Fund in 2011. This transfer allowed for no tax increase in 2011, and the Supervisors will be considering other cost-reductions for future years.
