Annual Delaware River 1776 Christmas on the Crossing Reenactment

The annual reenactment of George Washington's 1776 Delaware River crossing is scheduled for Christmas Day beginning at 1:00 pm.  During the event, visitors watch as reenactors in Continental military dress listen to an inspiring speech by Washington and then row across the river in three replica Durham boats.

There will also be a full dress rehearsal on Dec. 11th from 11 am to 3 pm, with the actual crossing at 1 pm.

Washington Crossing Park is located at the intersection of Rts. 32 and 532. Individuals with disabilities who need special assistance or accommodations to participate in this event should call 215-493-4076.  The cost is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and children ages 10-18.  There is no cost for children under age 10.
