Dave Kulig was sworn into office on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, during the Board of Supervisors regular meeting to fill a vacancy through the end of the year, December 31, 2011. He previously served on the Board of Supervisors from January 2006 to Spring 2010. Upon accepting his appointment, Kulig said it was good to be back, and he “welcomed the opportunity to serve and contribute again.”
Dave is a graduate of Penn State and a retired executive of Exxon-Mobil, where he specialized in clean fuels and international projects. He moved to Upper Makefield Township in 1990 and served on the township Planning Commission and the Newtown Regional Planning Commission before being elected to the Board of Supervisors.
His current liaison appointments include the Historical Advisory Commission, the Historic Architectural Review Board, the Environmental Advisory Commission/Open Space and the National Veterans’ Cemetery.
