Flooding
Proximity to water has made flooding a concern for many township residents. Hough’s Creek and Jericho Creek have repeatedly flooded, majorly impacting properties along their banks. Major flooding along the Delaware River and Delaware Canal have also affected the township in the past. The township has instituted riparian buffer ordinances and offers a Riparian Restoration Grant.
FLOOD DAMAGE AND CLEAN-UP INFORMATION:
